[500 Days to Go Event Held at Daiba Elementary School] On Friday, July 19th, the 500 Days to Go Event was held at Daiba Elementary School. The sixth graders learned how to communicate in sign language with deaf judo player Masaki Sato and others, and performed a dance that incorporated sign language movements. Shinagawa Ward’s three sports support characters, Shinakamon, Beechu, and Yatatama, who have joined the “Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics Support Team,” also danced with the children.
