Analog Design Lab Gallery ARTnSHELTER (1-19-10, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo Higashii, Tokyo) owned by the same company was exhibited from September 28, 2018 to October 14, 2018 by a painter from Australia, Al Castro “SAKOKU We will hold a secret country.
A reception party will be held from 7 pm on September 28th and you can enjoy live painting and music events by Al Castro.
Oil painting painted on the large campus exhibited at “SAKOKU Seikoku” exhibition is a portrait exhibition that gathered Japanese artists feel. Cut out a moment of everyday life and portrayed a number of portraits expressing unique culture and development of island country Japan that is both politically and physically separate from the culture of other countries.
The exquisite combination of tradition and development combined with traditional techniques such as oil painting is very relevant to him who is the theme of modernity and the influence that the isolation culture gave is drawn in this exhibition.

Australian native painter Al Castro studied painting at the Russian Academy of Art in Florence in Italy, after building a base as an artist as a graffiti artist in his young age. The world that he depicts the relationship between the person and the space where the person lives, the emotions on the spot, and the relationship between social people and space.
His work which was considered by looking at human behavior is becoming a very poetic and emotional style.
