From 31 March to 1 July, the Shinagawa History Museum ‘s exhibition “Togoshi and Oyama Yamaguchi Jiroi Bamboo Cultivation and Footprints” will be held. In the Edo era, we will introduce the achievements of Jiro Yamaji who brought bamboo cultivation to Togoshi and Oyama, and Jiro Yamaji Jobu Kochi, who was involved in administrations such as Togoshi village during the Meiji and Taisho eras with its descendants.
