On Monday, March 3, 2025, Tsudome Kanna and Ookuri Arisu, who live in the ward and are active both domestically and internationally as junior golfers, visited the ward office.
On October 22, 2023, when she was 9 years and 8 days old, Tsudome became the youngest girl in the world to achieve two hole-in-ones during the same round, earning a Guinness World Record. She is also set to compete in the World Championships in July.
Ooguri has won junior golf tournaments both in Japan and abroad, and is scheduled to compete in two world championships from July to August.
