On Saturday, March 8th, a traditional crafts experience class was held at the Shinagawa Ward Small and Medium Enterprise Center.
This time the theme is [Buddha Statues]!!
The lecturer will be Mr. Nobumichi Enomoto, a member of the Shinagawa Ward Traditional Crafts Preservation Society.
Professor Enomoto usually holds classes on carving wooden Buddhist statues, but in this class he taught the students the experience of painting a plaster Buddhist statue.
All the participants painted their own original Buddha statues in various colors, and commented with enjoyment, "It was difficult to paint it well, but we were taught carefully," and "I became interested in Buddhist statues."
The next trial class is scheduled to be held in June. Look forward to it!
