Shinagawa Ward will light up 13 bridges in the ward in green from sunset on Monday, June 5, 2023 in order to raise awareness of environmental issues.
The Ministry of the Environment has designated June 5 as "Environment Day", and with the aim of raising awareness and recognition of environmental issues, facilities and buildings throughout Japan will be illuminated in green. The ward implements this in response to efforts to call for lighting up.
