Today, September 8th (Friday), a demonstration of traditional crafts was held at the environmental learning exchange facility "Ecole Togoshi".
Today's demonstration is "Tokyo Hand-painted Yuzen"! !
Junko Kinoshita, a member of the Shinagawa Ward Traditional Crafts Preservation Society, created beautiful decorations with delicate brush strokes.
At first glance, you might think that it is a picture drawn on paper, right?
Unlike paper, Yuzen (kimono) is soft, so delicate brush strokes and concentration are required.
This is truly craftsmanship! !
In the future, we plan to continue using Ecole Togoshi.
Next time will be February 9th (Friday) next year, "Wasai"!
