The 1st General Regiment is primarily responsible for disaster relief and defense security in Tokyo's 23 wards.
During the district-wide disaster prevention drill held on Saturday, December 2nd, members of the 1st Company of the 1st General Regiment, which is in charge of Shinagawa Ward, participated in the headquarters training.
In addition, Shinagawa Ward employs three retired Self-Defense Forces personnel as employees, and we are actively working to interact with them.
We will continue to work to strengthen cooperation with the Self-Defense Forces in order to prepare for disasters that may occur at any time.
