"Spo-Machi! Commissioner's Award 2023" award report meeting and Hockey Town certificate presentation ceremony were held.
Called the "Shinagawa Hockey Community Support Project," Shinagawa City is working with local organizations to promote sports and create vitality in the area through hockey.
In recognition of this activity, on November 10th, we received the Japan Sports Agency's Sports and Healthy Community Development Excellence Local Government Award (commonly known as the “Sport Town! Commissioner's Award'').
Additionally, on November 1st, it was recognized as an official hockey town by the Japan Hockey Association.
At the ceremony,
Shiori Oikawa, a resident of Shinagawa Ward and member of the Japanese women's hockey team, Nakaoka from the comedy duo Roch,
Shinagawa Ward's hockey support character "Shinakamon" also participated, and the venue was a big hit 😊

Mr. Nakaoka of the comedy duo Rochchi was a member of the hockey club when he was a student and was said to have aspired to be on the Japanese national team. Since February 2020, he has been an official ambassador of the Japan Hockey Association.
