Selected as both an "SDGs Future City" and a "Municipal SDGs Model Project"!!
Shinagawa Ward has been selected by the Cabinet Office as an "SDGs Future City" for 2024 as a city proposing excellent initiatives toward achieving the SDGs, and has also been selected as a "Municipal SDGs Model Project" for taking particularly pioneering initiatives.
On Thursday, May 23rd, the Minister of Regional Revitalization, Shimizu, presented the "SDGs Future City Selection Certificate" at the Cabinet Office, and Mayor Morisawa made a statement of intent on behalf of the selected city.
Shinagawa Ward will continue to accelerate its efforts toward the SDGs.
