On Friday, July 26, 2024, 16 youth homestay students visited Shinagawa Ward on a program to study in Geneva, Switzerland, which has a friendship charter with the ward.
The homestay period will be for 17 days from Tuesday, July 30th to Thursday, August 15th, during which time the students will attend the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Victims Memorial Ceremony at Ariana Park and visit the United Nations European Headquarters, among other places.
