On Friday, October 18, 2024, a preview of the O Museum's special exhibition "The World of Metalwork/Forging: Aibu Tsuneo: Chaos, Change, Joy" was held at the O Museum (1-6-2 Osaki), and was attended by approximately 100 people from the ward and art world.
Every year, as part of the Shinagawa Citizens' Art Festival, the O Art Museum holds a special exhibition featuring artists with ties to Shinagawa. This time, we will be introducing Aimu Tsuneo, a craftsman and metal sculpting and hammering artist with ties to Shinagawa. We will be exhibiting about 80 pieces, including small crafts, from works from his student days to large new works, with a focus on works that have been exhibited at the Nitten Exhibition and the Japan Contemporary Crafts and Arts Exhibition.
