The Shinagawa Aquarium (3-2-1 Katsushima) is holding the "Shinagawa Deep Sea Creatures Exhibition: Eat or be eaten – Survival strategies" until Sunday, March 2, 2025.
This special exhibition has the theme of "eating" and uses live specimens to clearly explain the unique survival strategies of deep-sea creatures that survive in the harsh, dark, cold, high-pressure environments of more than 200 meters below sea level. Deep-sea creatures are exhibited in separate areas: feeding area, survival strategy area, and eating area. There will also be a deep-sea talk version of Ikimono Talk, which explains the appeal of deep-sea fish.
