Disaster prevention workshop with students from Rissho University and Shinagawa Women's College/
Today we held a disaster prevention workshop with students, an idea that was conceived at a town meeting held last year.
The theme was "How can young people get involved in disaster prevention projects?"
While eating curry prepared for emergencies, the participants were asked to discuss the topic freely, as they came up with ideas, without seeking a conclusion.
Hearing the opinions and ideas of current high school and university students was very refreshing and eye-opening, and I was able to hear some valuable voices.
