Shinagawa Ward is taking advantage of its location as a startup hub, including Gotanda Valley, to revitalize the ward's industry through public-private partnerships.
This year, various local entities are working together to build a startup ecosystem that will not only promote the growth of startups but also the growth of local industries, with the aim of further revitalizing the region.
The kickoff event, held on Monday, August 5th, featured a keynote speech by Mayor Morisawa, as well as a panel discussion and networking session, with the aim of deepening understanding of the characteristics of the ecosystem and support measures for startups.
