Revision of business-related general waste disposal fees in Tokyo’s 23 wards

The 23 wards of Tokyo will revise business-related general waste disposal fees from October 1, 2023 in order to promote the reduction and recycling of "business-related waste" and to optimize the burden on beneficiaries. At the same time, we will also revise the business-related general waste disposal fees for the Tokyo 23 Wards Cleaning Partial Affairs Association.
Business-related waste is a "service for specific users," and beneficiaries bear the full cost. Once every few years, we calculate the cost of garbage disposal and review the fees in order to make it appropriate. In this revision, the fee will be 40 yen per kilogram to 46 yen, and the difference will be 6 yen per kilogram.
In addition, due to the revision of the business-related general waste disposal fee, the fee for the business-related paid garbage disposal ticket will also be revised.
