Universal Sports Festa was held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Minamioi Cultural Center (1-12-6 Minamioi).
In addition to the Paralympic sports of boccia, carrolling, and hockey, the venue will host a total of seven types of competition, including disc golf, strikeout, snag golf, and wheelchair slalom. Everyone who participated seemed to be enjoying every competition in their own way, and cheers went up from all over the venue.
Participants said, "Wheelchairs are competitive and I really enjoyed them. It was a valuable experience."
Commemorative gifts with cute characters related to Shinagawa Ward were handed out, and the participants left with smiles on their faces.
