On November 8th, a lecture was held by Seisen Women's University, which has a partnership agreement with Shinagawa City, for the Citizens Department of the Earth Committee, “Gotanda Attractiveness Project'', and staff from the Shinagawa Tourism Association and Shinagawa City participated.
The purpose of the "Gotanda Attractions Dissemination Project" is to increase the number of people visiting Gotanda by finding and disseminating Gotanda's attractions from a student's perspective, and for students themselves to learn about the attractions of the area.
The students will be divided into nine groups and will create short tourism PR videos that include different sightseeing spots and gourmet spots. The completed videos will be posted on the Shinagawa Tourism Association's official YouTube channel, and the students themselves will disseminate and spread the videos.
In the lecture, staff from the Shinagawa Tourism Association explained about Shinagawa's tourism initiatives and attractions.Afterwards, each student group engaged in group work based on the lecture.
From now on, each student group will shoot and edit videos and present them in class in December.
