We received a report on the situation on the ground from staff who delivered relief supplies to the areas affected by the heavy rain disaster on the Noto Peninsula.
This time, we delivered requested supplies such as 100 blankets, 4,000 sandbags, and 81,000 uses of portable toilets to Wajima City, which appears to have been well received.
There was also considerable damage to temporary housing, and the residents were apparently unable to hide their shock at the repeated damage.
We will continue to stand by the affected areas and provide swiftly necessary assistance.
