Have you heard of earthquake-sensitive circuit breakers, which prevent electrical fires after major earthquakes?
Shinagawa Ward is subsidizing part of the cost of installing earthquake-sensing breakers for anyone living in a wooden house in the ward!
Eligible: People living in wooden houses in the ward Eligible devices and distribution board types (built-in and connected types)
・Earthed outlet type subsidy rate ・Amount ・Distribution board type (built-in type / connection type)
General households: 5/6 of the application amount (up to 80,000 yen)
Households with elderly or disabled members: 7/8 of the application amount (up to 100,000 yen)
・General households with earthed outlets and households with elderly or disabled people: Full amount of application (up to 30,000 yen)
<Important Notice>
The application deadline is Friday, February 28th! Due to limited budget, applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please apply early!
