On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the "Exciting SDGs Children's Future Operation" was held at Square Ebara (Ebara 4-5-28).
The event will feature talk shows and workshops that will allow people to learn about the SDGs in a fun way.
In the first part of the talk show, "SDGs x Yoshimoto Comedy Science Show," Professor Kuro Love, who is a university professor and also works as a comedian, explained what the SDGs are with a humorous touch. The audience was excited by science experiments and a quiz competition hosted by Tengu, a comedian who lives in the Tokyo metropolitan area. In the second part, the Dinosaur-kun talk show, "A Story of Dinosaurs, Life, and the Earth," science communicator Dinosaur-kun (Masashi Tanaka) took the stage. Children listened intently to his explanation of biodiversity and environmental issues, which was mixed with impressive dinosaur illustrations and quizzes, with shining eyes.
At the workshop, six booths were set up by companies and organizations in the ward under the theme of "Make, touch, and discover. An experiential workshop." Participants seemed to gain a deeper understanding of various SDGs initiatives as they toured the venue.
