"EV car sharing has begun"
As part of efforts towards realizing a carbon-free society, EV car sharing began in the Shinagawa Ward Office parking lot on Thursday, August 1st.
During the day on weekdays, the cars will be used as official vehicles by Shinagawa ward employees, and during the evenings and on weekends and holidays, they will be rented out to ward residents and others for car sharing.
Two EVs have been introduced this time, and it is expected that they will reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 1.6 tons per year.
