On Saturday, September 14, 2024, the "Children's Open-Air Farm" was opened on the rooftop of Shinagawa Ward Office's Second Building, and 40 children aged 4 to 9 from the ward had the opportunity to experience harvesting vegetables.
The Children's Open-Air Farm was opened with the aim of encouraging city-dwelling children to develop an interest in vegetable gardens through the experience of harvesting vegetables. It will be held twice a month on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month until the end of March 2025.
