The "Japanese Culture Festa 2025 in Square Ebara" was held at Square Ebara (Ebara 4-5-28) on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
This event is sponsored by the Shinagawa Cultural Promotion Foundation. The theme of the event is "Let's Connect Shinagawa Together," and the purpose is to provide an opportunity to experience the Japanese culture that is being lost and to reexamine the good old traditions of Japan.
At the venue, there were opportunities to experience traditional crafts by artisans from the Shinagawa Ward Traditional Crafts Preservation Society, as well as Japanese musical instruments. At the festival, where visitors could enjoy traditional games, visitors could play with decorated spinning tops, as well as ring toss and target practice.
In addition, the "Tea Ceremony Experience," "Flower Arrangement Experience," and "Japanese Sweets Making Experience," which were available through a lottery in advance, were very popular and many people applied. There were also other events such as Bon Odori and Koto performances, and everyone who visited the venue enjoyed Japanese culture in their own way.
