Today, I went to the Shinagawa Kabu Fair.
As a member of the judging panel, we selected Gold to Bronze Prizes🏅 for the fine Shinagawa turnips grown by local people and children based on criteria such as size and shape.
The Gold Prize went to Daiba Elementary School, and the Special Encouragement Prize went to Shinagawa Gakuen.

We also served Shinagawa soup and sold out kushikatsu and grilled green onions, which sold out quickly.
We would like everyone to know more about Edo-Tokyo vegetables, including Shinagawa turnips, and we would love for you to exhibit them at the Shinagawa Turnip Exhibition, which is becoming a year-end tradition.
