nice! 0 On Saturday, November 11th, a traditional craft experience class was held at the Shinagawa City Small and Medium Enterprise Center. This time's theme is [lacquer]! ! The lecturer will be Shunji Yasui, a member of the Shinagawa Ward Traditional Crafts Preservation Society! The participants created their own original patterns by polishing chopsticks made of lacquer that had been coated in layers of black, vermilion, and yellow with waterproof paper☺️ They also heard valuable stories about the history of lacquer. Winter tradition in Shinagawa Ward🌸 "Meguro River Everyone's Illumination" will be held along the Meguro River in the Osaki/Gotanda area from today until January 8, 2020 (Monday)! The electricity used to light the “cherry blossom” LED bulbs is 100% self-generated using fuel recycled from cooking oil used in homes and restaurants, achieving “local production for local consumption” of energy!
